Evidence grade Ungraded
Adamax
Ungraded: no published study, patent or registry entry was found for this molecule, so there is no research to grade.
- Strengths
- 10 mg
- Molecule
- Synthetic peptide described by the seller as Semax with an adamantane group (structure not disclosed)
- Mol. weight
- 1032.3 g/mol (per COA)
Origin
Described by the catalog as a Semax-family peptide with an added adamantane ring meant to improve stability. Its developer, exact structure and sequence are not disclosed.
How it works
Unknown for Adamax itself. The catalog frames it around cognition and BDNF signaling, borrowing from Semax, which raised BDNF and its receptor TrkB in animal studies. Whether the adamantane change keeps, loses or alters Semax's activity has not been tested.
What the research shows
No human, animal or cell studies of Adamax were found. A bibliographic search turned up only rat studies giving Semax together with a separate adamantane drug, which is co-treatment rather than a modified molecule. Data on Semax, a prescription drug in Russia, cannot be assumed to apply to a chemically different compound. It should not be confused with P-21, a different adamantane-modified peptide that does have published research.
Safety findings
No human or animal safety data exist. Without a disclosed structure, a buyer cannot check what the vial contains against any reference, and there is no toxicology of any kind.
Regulatory status
Not FDA-approved and not eligible for compounding; it is not on FDA's 503A nominations or safety-risk lists. Not named on WADA's 2026 list, but as an unapproved substance it would likely fall under S0 (prohibited at all times).
Catalog notes
Offered in 10 mg. Lot ADA10-0803 has a certificate (99.78% purity, content 10.39 mg, COA7596) that gives a molecular weight of 1032.3 g/mol but no sequence, formula or CAS. Follow the storage stated on the label and certificate. Also offered as a liquid spray.
