Research PeptidesMETABOLIC
Evidence grade Ungraded
Lipo Pure (Lipotropic)
Ungraded: the catalog does not disclose the formula, so no published research can apply to this exact product, and no human trials of lipotropic blends were found.
- Strengths
- 10 mL
- Also known as
- Lipotropic blend, MIC (methionine-inositol-choline) blend, MIC + B12
- Molecule
- Multi-ingredient blend (not a peptide)
Origin
A 'lipotropic' blend, a category usually built from methionine, inositol and choline (MIC), often with vitamin B12 and sometimes L-carnitine. The catalog does not list the ingredients or amounts in this vial.
How it works
'Lipotropic' describes nutrients involved in how the liver processes and exports fat. Choline is the main lipotrope in mammals, methionine is a sulfur amino acid and methyl donor, and inositol is described as lipotropic. Correcting a nutrient deficiency is a different question from adding extra to normal levels.
What the research shows
No controlled trials of injectable lipotropic or MIC blends were found; a 2020 review (updated 2026) described the evidence as mainly anecdotal. Individual ingredients have separate research: oral inositol has been studied in polycystic ovary syndrome, and oral L-carnitine in weight-loss meta-analyses. A 2011 review of food-derived lipotropes cited rat data on dietary lipotropes only. The actual composition of this product, and any outcome data for such blends, are unknown.
Key studies
- Caporuscio, Medical News Today review, updated 2026 Human trials of lipotropic products are scarce; evidence is mainly anecdotal.
Safety findings
Reported effects of injectable lipotropic products are mostly local site pain, and other effects are poorly studied. With no ingredient list or certificate, allergy and interaction risks cannot be judged. FDA has documented endotoxin reactions from injectables made with non-sterile-grade ingredients (glutathione 2019, NAD+ 2024); if carnitine is present, the carnitine label warnings would apply.
Regulatory status
FDA has not approved any lipotropic product for weight loss. Individual nutrients appear in approved drugs (cyanocobalamin, levocarnitine, methionine in IV amino-acid products), but not as this blend; compounding status depends on ingredients the catalog does not name. None of the usual ingredients is on the 2026 WADA list, though WADA restricts large-volume IV infusions.
Catalog notes
Offered as a 10 mL vial, listed as a lyophilized powder vial. No certificate, ingredient list, amounts, purity figure or CAS is published yet. Follow the storage stated on the label.
