Melts Brain-Fuel Dissolving Strips
Ungraded: ingredient amounts are undisclosed and no published research exists on this blend or strip.
- Strengths
- 30 strips (ingredient amounts not disclosed)
- Also known as
- Melts Brain-Fuel
- Contains
- Paraxanthine, L-theanine, Alpha-GPC, Huperzine A, Vinpocetine
- Molecule
- Non-peptide blend of five small molecules
Origin
A five-ingredient cognitive-research blend with no peptides: paraxanthine, L-theanine, Alpha-GPC, Huperzine A and vinpocetine.
How it works
Paraxanthine is caffeine's main metabolite and an adenosine-blocking stimulant. Alpha-GPC is an acetylcholine precursor and Huperzine A slows acetylcholine breakdown, so both raise acetylcholine activity; L-theanine is a tea amino acid and vinpocetine is a periwinkle-alkaloid derivative. With amounts undisclosed, the combined effect cannot be estimated.
What the research shows
No study of these five ingredients together, or of this strip, was found. L-theanine stress and anxiety trials are small and inconsistent. Alpha-GPC has dementia trials, and Huperzine A's Alzheimer's trials are poor quality. Cochrane reviews did not support vinpocetine for dementia or stroke. Paraxanthine safety data are mostly animal and cell studies.
Key studies
- Lee et al., 2021 (Korean cohort) Alpha-GPC use linked to about 46% higher stroke risk; confounding is likely and the finding is disputed.
- Cochrane reviews, 2003 and 2008 Did not support vinpocetine benefit for dementia or stroke.
- Yang et al., 2013 meta-analysis; Li et al., 2008 Cochrane Huperzine A Alzheimer's trials are of poor quality.
Safety findings
FDA warned in June 2019 that vinpocetine may cause miscarriage or harm a developing baby. Huperzine A can cause nausea, diarrhea, sweating and twitching and may add to dementia drugs or beta-blockers; paraxanthine adds to caffeine; Alpha-GPC carries an unresolved observational stroke signal. Amounts per strip are unknown and there is no COA or SDS.
Regulatory status
Not an FDA-approved drug. In 2016 FDA tentatively concluded vinpocetine is not a lawful dietary ingredient. None of the five is named on the 2026 WADA list (caffeine is monitored only), but WADA's S6 covers unlisted stimulants, which may apply to paraxanthine.
Catalog notes
Offered as 30 strips; ingredient amounts and inactive ingredients are not listed. It sold out as of October 12, 2026, and is not in the October 15 catalog; no certificate or product SDS was published.
