Peptide BlendsGROWTH HORMONE AXIS
Evidence grade D
CJC / GHRP-6
The combination has never been studied, so it is graded D. On their own, CJC-1295 No DAC is graded D and GHRP-6 C.

- 5 mg / 5 mg
- Also known as
- Mod-GRF(1–29) / GHRP-6 blend
- Contains
- CJC-1295 without DAC (Mod GRF 1–29), GHRP-6
- Molecule
- Blend of two peptides, 1:1 by mass (about 1:3.9 by molecules)
- Mol. weight
- CJC-1295 No DAC 3,368 g/mol; GHRP-6 873 g/mol
Origin
A vial with equal amounts of the short-acting 'No DAC' form of CJC-1295 (Mod GRF 1–29) and GHRP-6, a ghrelin mimic. The certificate identifies the CJC component as the No DAC form.
How it works
The two act on different pituitary receptors: CJC-1295 No DAC on the GHRH receptor and GHRP-6 on the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a). The two pathways are studied for combined effects on growth hormone release, and both agents act as short pulses.
What the research shows
Small 1990s human studies found that natural GHRH plus GHRP-6, given as single IV doses, released far more growth hormone together than either alone. Those studies used native GHRH, not Mod GRF (1–29), and no study of this exact pair in humans or animals was found. The rationale is therefore mechanistic reasoning from related molecules. Because the ratio is fixed, GHRP-6 can't be varied separately from CJC.
Key studies
- Bowers et al., J Clin Endocrinol Metab 1990 18 men: low-dose GHRP-6 plus GHRH(1–44) released growth hormone synergistically.
- Peñalva et al., J Clin Endocrinol Metab 1993 GH area-under-curve about 973 (GHRP-6) and 821 (GHRH) alone vs 4,412 together.
Safety findings
GHRP-6 brings dose-related rises in cortisol and prolactin, strong hunger, sweating and a slowed heart rate; GHRH caused brief flushing in 16 of 18 men in one study. FDA flags immune reactions, raised glucose and heart-rate or flushing reactions across the components. Synergy may amplify growth hormone, glucose and fluid-retention effects, though this has not been measured.
Regulatory status
Neither component is approved for any use. CJC-1295 lost an FDA advisory vote in December 2024 and is not on the 503A bulks list; GHRP-6 is on FDA's 503B Category 2 safety list and in 503A Category 3, so there is no lawful compounding pathway. WADA prohibits both at all times (S2).
Catalog notes
Offered as 5/5 mg. Current lot CJCGHRP5-0528 has a certificate (COA4860, June 17, 2026): 99.9% purity, with identity, sterility, endotoxin and heavy metals conforming; content is reported as total peptide rather than by component. Follow the storage stated on the label and certificate.
