Overview
Three separate vials: thymosin alpha-1 (a synthetic thymus peptide approved abroad as Zadaxin), Thymalin (a calf-thymus extract approved in Russia) and MOTS-c (a mitochondrial-derived peptide). The two thymic products are studied in T-cell and immune research. MOTS-c is studied in metabolic research, and the catalog states no rationale for including it.
What the research shows
Thymosin alpha-1 is studied in hepatitis B and C, sepsis, cancer add-on use and vaccine response, with real randomized trials; its largest recent trial, 1,106 sepsis patients, found no survival benefit. Thymalin's human data are small, open-label and mostly from its developers. MOTS-c improved insulin resistance and physical decline in mice. Thymosin alpha-1 and Thymalin have never been studied together, and no study tests the three.
Safety findings
All three components raise immune questions: thymosin alpha-1 and Thymalin are immune stimulants, and FDA flags immunogenicity for thymosin alpha-1 and MOTS-c, so autoimmune disease, transplants and immunosuppressants are the main theoretical concerns. Thymalin is a bovine-protein extract with possible allergic reactions and a theoretical risk of animal-derived contaminants. A MOTS-c analog caused injection-site reactions in 79% vs 33% on placebo.
Regulatory status
No component is FDA-approved or lawfully compoundable: thymosin alpha-1 was nominated but withdrawn, Thymalin was never nominated, and MOTS-c's favorable July 2026 advisory vote (7–5–2) is non-binding, with no final rule since. Thymosin alpha-1 (Zadaxin) and Thymalin are approved abroad as different products. MOTS-c is prohibited at all times by WADA.
Catalog notes
Certificates: thymosin alpha-1 10 mg (COA7585, 99.78%), Thymalin 20 mg (COA3390, 99.8%, tested April 3, 2026) and MOTS-c 10 mg (COA7589, 99.84%). MOTS-c is also in the NAD Stack and Prime kits, and thymosin alpha-1 is also in Prime.
